Hi! I’m Josie Morales, I live in Georgia with my husband, Marlon. When I am not working you can find me at church with his youth students! I love my local church! My heart yearns for family, adventure, a coffee from a local cafe, shopping, the great outdoors, Jesus, and laugh attacks that make your whole body sore. I’m a firm believer in God, incredible BBQ, good music, and capturing every moment. I’m Inspired by people and their stories; laughter and love; beautiful spaces; nature & simplicity; sunsets and beautiful lights. I strive to create stunning, real photos that truly capture the emotion of a moment. I want to tell your story and who you are through spontaneous, fun, and breathtaking imagery that will be cherished for years to come. I have a love for all things natural, real and free-spirited.
My approach
I aim to create photos that reflect the truest, most honest parts of your sessions while highlighting every detail. Many photographers follow trends that can leave couples with photos that feel out of date or inaccurate.
I'll help prep you before our sessions with a style guide, location guide and i'll incorporate information you’ve given me to know how to guide you and give you prompts.
When you hire me, you won’t have to worry about unnatural tones or colors—you can trust that your session will be captured just as you remember it.
As A Photographer
My goal is to create authentic timeless photos. I want you to cherish those memories forever and have photos that reflect that. My hope is when you look back at them you'll feel you're able to relive the day over and over again. I have spent so much time, money in gear, education, and investing in photography/myself to be able to really deliver on my part. This is why I charge what I do and why I don't take this job lightly. I am passionate about giving you not only the best photos but also the best wedding experience possible.
My Shooting style
I describe my shooting style as "guided documentary," where I help clients feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera while capturing their best angles. At the same time, I allow natural, candid moments to unfold in real time. I’ll position you in the best lighting, guide poses during formal portraits (like adjusting hair or fixing posture), suggest ideal photo spots at your destinations, prioritize the photographs that matter most to you, and recommend timelines that consider lighting and key photos. I won’t make you redo a first look, interrupt candid moments, dictate how you should act or react, or turn your wedding day into a strict photoshoot.
